About these terms

These terms apply when you request a quote or book work with Wheel Magician Ltd (referred to as "we", "us" or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12762771, with its registered office at PO Box 4385, Cardiff, CF14 8LH. We trade as Wheel Magician.

By requesting a quote or booking work with us, you agree to these terms. If anything's unclear, ask before booking — we'd rather sort it up front.

Quotes

  • A quote is an estimate based on the photos and information you give us, valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
  • A quote is not a binding contract. A contract is formed when we agree a date and you confirm the booking.
  • If, when we arrive, the actual condition or job is materially different from what was described, we'll let you know and re-quote before starting any work. You can cancel without charge at that point.

Service area

We're a mobile service operating within roughly a 2-hour drive of Reigate, Surrey. We'll confirm coverage when you give us your postcode. Work outside this area can sometimes be arranged but may carry a travel surcharge — we'll always agree this with you in writing first.

Booking, postponement and cancellation

  • Bookings are confirmed by WhatsApp, email or phone. We'll text you a reminder the day before.
  • Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to postpone or cancel. We can usually move things at no charge with reasonable notice.
  • Same-day cancellations after we've already set out may incur a small call-out fee to cover travel time. We'll always discuss this with you rather than surprise you with a bill.
  • We may need to postpone for weather (heavy rain or freezing conditions affect the finish on some work). We'll always offer the first available alternative.

What we need on the day

  • Off-street access to the vehicle (driveway, private car park, forecourt) with room to work safely around it.
  • Access to a standard 13A power socket within reasonable cable reach for some jobs.
  • For diamond cut and refurb work, the vehicle should be available for the full duration of the job — typically a few hours per wheel.

Payment

  • Payment is due on completion, by bank transfer or card. We don't take cash by default but it can be arranged.
  • For larger jobs we may ask for a small deposit at the time of booking — confirmed in writing first.
  • VAT is included in the quoted price where applicable.

Warranty

  • All refurbishment and diamond cut work carries a 1-year warranty against defects in the finish or workmanship under normal road use.
  • The warranty does not cover: kerbing, impact damage, corrosion caused by exposure to harsh chemicals or salt, finish issues arising from later body shop or detailer work, or damage from tyre fitters who weren't us.
  • To make a warranty claim, contact us within the warranty period with photos. We'll inspect the work and, if covered, refurbish or repair the affected wheel(s) at no charge.

No fix, no fee

If we genuinely can't repair what we've quoted on (for example, a wheel that turns out to be unsafe to refurbish), you don't pay us for that wheel. We'll always tell you up front before the work starts if we suspect this is going to be the case.

Tyres

  • New tyres are sold with the manufacturer's own warranty in addition to our fitting workmanship.
  • Part-worn tyres are inspected, pressure-tested and supplied in line with the legal minimum tread (1.6mm) — they may have less life than a new tyre but will be roadworthy at fitting.
  • We dispose of your old tyres responsibly through a licensed waste-tyre carrier; a small disposal fee is included in the quote.

Photos and gallery

Photos you upload to your quote are used only to prepare and carry out the job. We may take before/after photos of finished work for our portfolio — these never include personal details (number plates are blurred) and we'll always ask before publishing anything that could identify you or your vehicle.

Liability

  • We carry full Public Liability insurance.
  • We're responsible for damage caused directly by us during the work (this is what insurance is for).
  • We're not responsible for: pre-existing faults you didn't tell us about, issues with parts you supplied, or indirect or consequential losses (for example, a missed appointment because a job took longer than planned).
  • Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Complaints

If something isn't right, please tell us straight away — most things are easiest to fix while we're still on site or shortly after. The quickest way is WhatsApp on 07873 726210 or email contact@wheelmagician.co.uk.

We aim to acknowledge any written complaint within 2 working days and resolve it within 14. If we can't reach an agreement, you can refer the matter to a UK consumer dispute resolution service such as Citizens Advice.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent change. The version that applies to your booking is the one shown here at the time you confirmed it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
